SONiA has been an out musician from the start and formed disappear fear with the idea that "Love is Love". She has performed for prides around the World and was the only performer that was booked that actually showed up when bigots starting shooting at Camp Sister Spirit in Mississippi. She has been nominated for a Grammy and has won GLAAD album of the year as well as the GLAMA 3 years in a row. She is featured on two HRC Cds. Whether at a pride festival or on the Today show SONiA is always out and always there for the community when called.
