| Filled with all the theatrics of a Broadway musical, piano-based singer-songwriter Adam Book's debut CD In These Verses treats listeners to an eclectic mix of cabaret, danceable pop, haunting ballads, new age, sensual Latin dance, and light satire. His songs cover a number of universal themes - self-discovery, longing, hope, love, and loss. His more personal songs focus on issues he has dealt with related to being gay, such as homophobia and self-acceptance.
